Happy New Year! Though many would like to forget 2020, I’m appreciative of everything that I've learned along the way. Halfway through the year I was laid-off from my previous job due to COVID-19's impact on the business. Four months without a career to dedicate myself to was eye opening.

Early calls started coming in from customers asking for extended terms on their credit lines. We all had decisions to make. Do we continue ordering tires? What’s the right inventory level we should have? How long is this going to last?

Most of us know the importance and need for business travel. Due to COVID-19, over the greater part of 2020, long lines at security and delays at the baggage claim have been replaced by Zoom meetings. Each of us has a funny story of a video call where one of your kids is asking/yelling “what’s 2+2?” or having to pick up a pet and take them outside in a hurry so that they can do their business.
