Focused on the Future

Sometimes, in pursuit of goals, we have to take 10 steps back in order to take 20 forward. I believe this to be true in life and in business.

Recently, we have had several external factors affect our industry, many of which are out of our control.

NOTES FROM THE MARKETING MANAGER

January 1st, 2021

Happy New Year! Though many would like to forget 2020, I’m appreciative of everything that I've learned along the way. Halfway through the year I was laid-off from my previous job due to COVID-19's impact on the business. Four months without a career to dedicate myself to was eye opening.

NOTES FROM THE PRESIDENT 5

December 18th, 2020

What a wild ride in 2020! As of the onset of the pandemic, we started looking for signs of how it would truly affect our business. Early calls started coming in from customers asking for extended terms on their credit lines. We all had decisions to make. Do we continue ordering tires? What’s the right inventory level we should have? How long is this going to last?

Most of us know the importance and need for business travel. Due to COVID-19, over the greater part of 2020, long lines at security and delays at the baggage claim have been replaced by Zoom meetings. 2020… it’s important we start this off with the year. I want to make sure whoever reads this in 2030 understands this was the moment where video conferencing became a need and a norm. It’s also a year where many companies discovered the importance of IT infrastructure and business process.

Keeping “Connected” during COVID-19

The last 5 months or so have been some of the most interesting times we likely will ever see, and I really hope that we are soon headed to the end of the pandemic! Covid-19 has literally changed the landscape of the whole world in such an amazingly short time.
