April 1st, 2015 (Miami, Florida). Tire Group International today announced that Joaquin Gonzalez Jr. has been named President of the company effective April 1st, 2015. Joaquin joined TGI in 2006 after having had a successful football career, first with the University of Miami Hurricanes winning the National Title in 2001, and then in the NFL playing with the Cleveland Browns and the Indianapolis Colts.

Tire Group International and Pro Comp are pleased to announce that they have entered into a distribution agreement that will allow TGI to exclusively distribute Pro Comp branded tires and wheels in Colombia. TGI will offer both direct factory shipments as well as fill-in from its distribution center in Miami, FL.

May 22nd, 2014 (Miami, Florida). Tire Group International is pleased to announce that it has signed a supply agreement with Wabash National Corporation, a diversified industrial manufacturer and North America’s leading producer of semi-trailers and liquid transportation systems.

November 1st, 2013 (Miami, Florida). Tire Group International is pleased to announce that on September 9th, 2013 it was granted the Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) 281-4 status. This new development will give TGI the ability to defer, reduce and even eliminate costly customs duties on products brought into its U.S. distribution center for re-export.
